Google Code Next is Google's free computer science program for Black, Latinx, Indigenous and other underrepresented middle and high school students. Students learn coding, AI, game design and UX from Google engineers and mentors, and build real projects for their communities. For four years, we documented it in New York, NY.

Students presenting the apps, games and prototypes they built, to Google mentors, families and guests.

Teams racing the clock to build something new, from the first sketch on the whiteboard to the final demo.

Students and alumni meeting Google engineers, designers and tech professionals, and building the network that comes with the program.

The end of year celebration, with student performances, prizes and the whole program in one room.

Program leads, Google mentors and students taking the stage. We film and photograph every talk, then cut the highlights into one reel the team can share.
