Knickerbocker Avenue, Bushwick, NY

For the Puerto Rican Day Parade on Knickerbocker Avenue, the parade committee and a New York State Assemblywoman brought us on to capture the whole day for the parade's socials, and we have come back every year since. Each year ends in a vertical recap of the full route, newest first.

On the Street

Down on the Knickerbocker route we follow the floats, the classic cars and the dancers, and turn back to the crowd waving flags along the barricades.

Fifth Avenue, Manhattan, NY: Walking With the Nurses

Our first Puerto Rican Day Parade came earlier, in Manhattan, NY. In 2019 we were invited to walk with the New York State Nurses Association float to honor its nurses, and photographed the march up Fifth Avenue.
